WHAT IS THE CONSULTATION FEE?

The hourly rate is $60.00

HOW MUCH TIME PER ROOM DOES IT TAKE FOR A CONSULTATION?

FOR PAINT COLOURS OR FURNITURE PLACEMENT
* The time could vary from 20 min.-1 hour

FOR CUSTOM TREATMENTS, I.E. WINDOW, BEDCOVERINGS, ETC.
* The length of time could vary between 1 – 2 hours (fee is deductible from purchase price.)

WHAT IS INCLUDED?

PAINT – paint chips are cut and subsequently arranged on a chart, indicating colour name, number and finish.

ROOM PLANS
– After the room is measured, a diagram of the furniture placement is outlined on square-ruled paper (scale is ¼ in.= 1 ft.)

CUSTOM-WORK
– Fabrics and style designs are chosen and a detailed estimate is provided.

IF I NEED WINDOW COVERINGS, BEDDING OR UPHOLSTERY, DO YOU SUPPLY THE FABRICS OR DO I HAVE TO SHOP AROUND?

Fabric sample books of sheers, prints, jacquards, satins, etc as well as catalogues of window blinds are always on hand during the shop-at-home visit. All prices are discounted from the retail price.

WHAT ABOUT LABOUR & INSTALLATION?

Labour for drapery, curtains, valances & bedding is top-notch by our seamstresses who formerly supplied Eaton`s.
Hardware and installation service is provided.

IS UPHOLSTERY SERVICE AVAILABLE & IS TRANSPORTATION INCLUDED?

Absolutely – and workmanship is 100% guaranteed by our upholsterer who was formerly the chief upholsterer at Eaton`s. Transport is supplied.

IS THERE AN AFTER-SALES SERVICE?

The designer is always present during installation and delivery to ascertain satisfactory completion of all projects. Manufacturers’ warranties are honoured.
